EISC Automates Analytical Lab Data Process for Environmental Chemistry Inc.

April 5:  Las Vegas – EISC, experts in lab data integration and automation, has automated the metals, volatiles and semi-volatiles analytical data production process for Environmental Chemistry, Incorporated (ECI) with its Analytical Review & Reporting system (R&R Suite).  The R&R Suite removed all manual entry of data within the lab’s analytical production process, performs full quality assurance automation, and transfers all reviewed analytical results to the LIMS.  The result is a significantly increase in the lab’s throughput by reducing its data production turnaround time from hours and days to within minutes.

Key to lab productivity, the R&R Suite bridges the functionality gap between analytical instrument raw data and the information that is delivered to the lab’s internal and external clients. Its seamless universal connectivity takes dynamic analytical instrument data and transforms it into comprehensive analytical information.  An automatic interface with any instruments and third party informatics creates a seamless process workflow that integrates all data to a central point for analytical production including automated instrument interfaces, quality assurance, deliverable/report generation, and/or electronic transfer of the information in the lab and across industries within minutes.  Just some of the instruments integrated included PerkinElmer’s Nexion ICPMS and ICP, Cetac Quick-trace Mercury Analyzer, and Agilent’s GC and GCMS.

Moreover, the R&R Suite expanded ECI’s current capabilities to meet the needs of industry regulations such as DOD, DOE, EPA, Army Corp. Air Force, and Superfund-Like (CLP-Like) work.  ECI’s reviewed analytical results will be used by the Petrochemical Manufacturing and Refining Industries for compliance with the requirements of the Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP), National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) reporting.  Additionally, ECI will utilize the R&R Suite automation for scientific communication of analytical results for remedial investigations, feasibility studies, site assessment, compliance monitoring, and/or permit application for industrial, governmental, and engineering and consulting firms.  As well, it will complement ECI’s on-going compliance following the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP).
